Welcome to the 2026 North Carolina State Fair On-line Nomination site.

*All market animals must be nominated to be eligible for the NC State Fair Livestock Shows. Nomination/Entry process includes:

Market Beef:

Step 1: Request NC State Fair Nomination kits through the ShoWorks system by April 14th, pick up locations can be found with the Nomination information on the NC State Fair Livestock Webpage www.ncagr.gov/divisions/ncstatefair/livestock. If someone other than exhibitor is picking up kit, please designate in the Exhibitor Notes field.

Step 2: Submit animal information and upload photo on each animal for nomination through the ShoWorks system by May 14th.

Step 3: Make official fair entries by September 15th

Market Lambs, Hogs, and Goats:

Step 1: Request NC State Fair Nomination kits through the ShoWorks system by June 14th, pick up locations can be found with the Nomination information on the NC State Fair Livestock Webpage www.ncagr.gov/divisions/ncstatefair/livestock. If someone other than exhibitor is picking up kit, please designate in the Exhibitor Notes field.

Step 2: Submit animal information and upload photo on each animal for nomination through the ShoWorks system by July 15th

Step 3: Make official fair entries by September 15th

**All steps must be complete for the animal to be eligible to officially enter the NC State Fair Livestock Shows. This Nomination does NOT ENTER YOU INTO THE FAIR.

You MUST complete Step 1, Step 2, and Step 3 of the Nomination/Entry process to be completely entered in the NC State Fair.

***SAVE YOUR LOG IN INFORMATION*** You will use the same log in User Id and Password to make your Official Entries to the Fair.
